Based on the evidence, this study concludes that parental involvement impacts positively in building child’s life-long learning as the more parents actively involved in their child’s education, the more they realize its goal; contrarily, the children who lack parental involvement are likely not to realize their educational goal. It is suggested therefore that all parents should passionately involve their child’s education in other words, for them to realize their life-long educational goal. Therefore the paper recommends among others that counsellors should quickly identify children in their cares who lack parental involvement, and collaborate with their parents to address barriers to parental involvement with the appropriate counselling approaches. Also, counsellors should encourages workshops and resources on effective parenting strategies emphasize the importance of nurturing positive parent-child relationships as a foundation for lifelong learning.
